What to expect, what to bring, and how to prepare for your Melt Well experience.
Is each suite private?
Yes. Contrast therapy and infrared sauna sessions take place in a private suite. You can move through the experience at your own pace without sharing the space with other guests.
What happens during my first visit?
Please arrive about five minutes early. A team member will show you how everything works, help you get comfortable with the equipment, and answer your questions before the session begins. After that, the private suite is yours.
What should I bring?
Bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes. Towels are provided for every service, and contrast suites include a private Vitamin C shower. You may also want to bring a water bottle.
Do I have to use the cold plunge?
No. You control your experience. You can adjust how long you spend in the sauna and plunge, take breaks, or skip the cold plunge altogether.
How does red light therapy work at Melt Well?
You can book a dedicated 20-minute session on our full-body lay-down red light bed in a private room. You can also add red light inside the sauna during an infrared sauna or contrast therapy session for $9. Twenty minutes of sauna red light is recommended.
How long are sessions?
- Contrast therapy sessions are 60 minutes.
- Infrared sauna sessions are 50 minutes.
- Dedicated red light therapy sessions are 20 minutes.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Eligible guests may be able to use HSA or FSA funds for Melt Well memberships and session packages through Truemed. Eligibility varies by individual and plan.

Yes. Memberships are designed for guests who want to visit consistently and receive better per-session value. Session packages provide savings without a monthly commitment.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Guests can join you for contrast therapy or infrared sauna sessions for an additional $19. Please call us before your appointment so we can add the guest to your reservation.

No. Unused membership sessions do not roll over, so we recommend booking your sessions within each membership month.
What is your cancellation policy?
To avoid a possible late cancel fee, please cancel or call us at least six hours before your scheduled session.

Memberships require 30 days’ notice to cancel. Contact Melt Well Raleigh directly in writing to begin the cancellation process.
How are the sauna and cold plunge cleaned?
The sauna is cleaned and towels are refreshed between guests. The cold plunge uses filtration and sanitation systems to maintain water quality, and the equipment is cleaned and monitored regularly.
